Andrew Robinson is the author of Satyajit Ray: the Inner Eye, published in a third edition by Bloomsbury in 2021. The British Film Institute is screening a two-part retrospective of Ray’s films in July and August 2022 at the BFI Southbank in London. The script of The Alien appears in The Chess Players and Other Screenplays, written by Satyajit Ray, edited by Andrew Robinson (Faber and Faber, 1989)
